For some reason on the free version of EBF5 my game glitched causing my sp to never go down. I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else. This allowed me to spam viking monoliths (and anything I wanted really) causing my turn to never end.
What's on your mind?
These games have always intrigued me, but I don't exactly know the order in which to play them, specifically when it comes to the spinoffs. At what points should I play the spinoffs during the main series?
Hi, i captured devourer, and The final boss get replaced with a worm, i love fighing with devourer ¿Can anyone give me a 100% file without final boss captured?
Hi, scans don't display foe accuracy; but I'd still like to know how to calculate it. This wiki shows foes' base accuracy. I assume this means what their accuracy would be if they were Lv 1? How do I calculate what their accuracy is given their actual level then?
and i unlocked the secret cheats like GOD MODE
or the fucking,..
CAT SIMULATOR or HELL MODE!
it´s time to give insta kill in EVERITHING!
I was on it a while ago, but I left. Can I have another invite?
i can´t wait anymore
Before I could look at any stat and instantly see BM changes. Now I'm apparently supposed to check every stat and hope I notice the changes. How is this any more convenient?
.... Each member of the "Epic Gang" (yes, that's what I'm calling them) were some sort of supernatural being? I've already got them planned out:
- Matt: Dragon (A small one. 'Bout the size of a horse.)
- Natalie: Phoenix/Fairy hybrid ( Don't ask me how that works.)
- Lance: Werewolf
- Anna: Elf/Dryad hybrid
- NoLegs: Ancient forest spirit
I know that every foe can technically be found in the Grand Gallery, but I'm curious about which foes do and don't respawn.
Anyone have a list?
In Epic Battle Fantasy 5, if you progress through the Wild Tropics and up to the entrance to the Grand Gallery, the NPC, Tandalf, has some interesting dialogue for you. He says that you should level up your skills and Matt makes some sarcastic commentary about not leveling any skills just in spite of Tandalf. This got me thinking. Is it theoretically possible to beat the game any% without leveling up your skills? Or is this a ridiculous fantasy?
I think I'll try doing my own playthrough of the game without leveling any skills, on Zero difficulty of course. Let me know what you think!
A little minigame i thought of, you have to say numbers to protect the bush
You can buy gadgets to help
If someone says destroy bush
WE LOSE ALL THE BUSH POINTS STOCKED UP
Not gadgets however
I am gonna need to stock first
Rules: make a wish in the text, and the next person corrupts it, and makes a wish
here is a example
person 1: I wish for a phone
person 2: Granted, but you get a phone which runs out of batteries in 1 second
I wish for a bush
I have been here, and i have one question. What are those red flaming plants? (There are also sometimes orange but still) Could you help me find them. Tell me the name of the enemies and that is it. I just need to find out. After that you can ask about other enemies
I finish fight with final boss. After that, i returned to the beginning ò the game. But I haven't discovered everything in the game yet. So is there any way I can get everything back? If you know any way to get back, please talk with me and thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been playing the public beta, so I instead get to see Lance point the middle finger at that literal paywall, and I’ve heard/seen, the hate for the mineshaft, and the boss. Why?, all I can tell is that the Neon Vahalla can regen every turn.
Okay so I'm going to do this in two parts one spoilerly one not.
Non spoiler (Question about article formatting): The EBF5 final boss is separated into two waves. This is really not a problem on its own, but unlike Godcat they are two different foes. It isn't Destroyer and Creator or even ExDeath and Neo ExDeath, its more like having the Colossus and Echinda on the same page. So I'm kind of confused as to what to do- do we make two separate pages for Final Boss A and B or stick them on one page and rename it Final Boss B?
Spoiler (commentary on the Final Boss):
EDIT:In retrospect, the final boss makes a bit more sense. It is more offputting thematically then most other things (Godcat and Akron you had all this buildup, you knew what was coming, this was more just "kill the monolith core thingy and poof true boss appears!".
So...um. Turns out the Beholder isn't a good guy after all! Though we could have guessed what with the tentacles and sharp attacking thingies. This guy is called the Devourer, apparently he(?)'s the one in charge of the Monolith Rain and the Great Impact. He truly takes after Godcat, seeing as he has several helpers to aid him in his devastation. But what is it supposed to be? This seems to be a mild case of Giant Space Flea from Nowhere syndrome- we spend the journey knowing that something is probably controlling the monoliths, but I would have expected that alien god thing on the ruins or a sentient ball of light with some sort of ethereal battle suit. He seems to be in charge of...well...everything that has happened in this game, and he does seem to be the true true true antagonist behind all the things. However, he seems like he should have been elaborated on a bit more- is the series a simulation run by him? Or is it he is creating a simulation to try to figure out how to get rid of the party and make his dream universe? The game is frigging amazing in basically all respects, but the way the final boss is shown it feels like more of a startling revelation than an epic climax. Or maybe its just that it being Beholder v358.0 instead of an obviously Cosmic Monolith like entity or something modeled after the color scheme.
It has really been a long time since August 16, 2014.
(And yes, my username IS based on the game, as I was basically that one fangirl. Ech. I still really enjoy the game.)
Same as previously in EBF3 and EBF4, Kupo Games has made a contest where fans can draw and design their very own enemies, that they would like to see in the upcoming game.
Contest's winners will have their designed foe put into the game!
Few examples of foes that previously made it into the game such way include drunkard Tanuki Dog and Crystal Golem, who got the honour of even being one of the EBF4's main bosses.
For more details and information, please read Kupo Games full post:
Good Luck for every contestant!
