Amethyst is a crafting item in Epic Battle Fantasy 3 and 4. It is a collection of purple crystals used for forging mostly Wind-based and non-elemental equipment to their later levels.
In Epic Battle Fantasy 3, Amethyst resembles a mass of pointed purple crystals. It can be bought in The Town for 7,770 gold once it has been found elsewhere; only four will be needed to upgrade everything.
In Epic Battle Fantasy 4, Amethyst crystals have squared tips and a lighter purple color; they are also shown protruding from a lump of gray stone. It is available for purchase at Whitefall Town and Goldenbrick Resort, costing 5,200 gold per piece. In order to upgrade everything, 69 will be needed; most will go towards forging the Sky Feather and the Mystic Breeze.
