The Anna Doll is a foe and a summon in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It typically appears in haunted areas like the Mystic Woods, Redpine Town and The Rapture, often alongside other Dolls.
Appearance[]
As its name suggests, the Anna Doll is a crudely-made voodoo doll of Anna, with large green buttons for eyes, green hair with a single yellow orb tying part of it into a short ponytail, and a green leaf covering its pelvis area. Large stitches are visible on its left arm and the right side of its torso, and the left side of its body is speckled with patches of green paint, moss, or mold. It wields a simple bow fashioned from a curved brown twig and a piece of white string; much like the real Anna, it can produce a seemingly unlimited supply of arrows from somewhere unclear.
Overview[]
Like other Dolls, hitting this foe will result in the corresponding player taking damage equal to a % of their max HP proportional to how much of the Doll's max HP was lost to the attack (this takes into account overkill damage), even if they are in backup; Instant Death will also trigger this effect, as it's essentially an attack that deals damage equal to 100% of their HP. Healing the Doll will also in turn heal the corresponding player (this only happens if the Doll isn't at full HP). Damage/healing isn't affected by Invisible/Enchanted, but will be halved by Defend (except when Doom kills the Doll). This passive ability can be blocked by Syphoning the foe.
If Syphon isn't an option, Morale and/or Auto-Revive can be used to help Anna survive the reflected damage.
The Anna Doll can use all of Anna's single-target elemental arrows with their corresponding status effects, giving it a surprisingly wide range of elements and status effects to work with. It can also heal allies with Renew; combined with the Sympathy ability, it can be quite effective in multiple roles. Fortunately, it can be almost completely shut down by Syphoning it, reducing it to a weak physical attack.
The Anna Doll absorbs Dark, but is weak to Fire and especially Holy. However, it may be safer to kill a low-health Anna Doll with a neutral attack in order to avoid accidentally killing Anna. It has no status resistances or weaknesses. With "More Foe Resistance" active, its weaknesses are amplified, but it becomes immune to all other elements (except Dark, which it still absorbs) and resistant to Syphon.

Battle Logic[]
The following describes general logic of the enemy and attack patterns, with chances of each attack to be used. Conditions are listed from highest to lowest priority unless specified otherwise.
Action
- If catch score >55 and all players are Lovable → Surrender + Renew.
- If Syphoned → Head Bash
- <79% HP and not Berserked → Aqua Arrow (6/35), Frost Arrow (6/35), Spark Arrow (6/35), Nitro Arrow (6/35), Blessed Arrow (6/35), Renew (5/35).
- Otherwise → Aqua Arrow (1/5), Frost Arrow (1/5), Spark Arrow (1/5), Nitro Arrow (1/5), Blessed Arrow (1/5).
* Renew will always target the most damaged foe.
Additionally, on Hard or Epic difficulties, if the Doll is Syphoned at the start of their turn, they'll automatically inflict 1x Berserk on themselves (this doesn't take up their action).
Summon[]
The Anna Doll can be captured and used as a summon. Its attack is essentially a Bio-themed Giga Drill, hitting a single foe with modest physical damage that can be greatly increased if they have defensive buffs.
