The Blue Slime is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It appears mostly around the coastal area of Rock Lake, though a few may also be found in the Glacier Valley.

Appearance[]

The Blue Slime is what its name suggests: a blue blob with eyes. Some variants of the slime have a rainbow or a raincloud floating above its head.

Overview[]

The Blue Slime is essentially a slightly stronger Green Slime with a watery flavor. It has two physical attacks that deal pure Water damage; neither is particularly notable, but one of them has a high chance of debuffing the target's Evade. It has a surprisingly broad array of resistances, but low base HP and easily-accessible weaknesses make it an easy target.

The Blue Slime strongly resists Ice, Wind, and Earth, is immune to Fire, and has an enormous Water absorption; fortunately, Water attacks are incredibly rare for the party. On the other hand, it's fairly weak to Bomb and Stun while being extremely vulnerable to Thunder, Doom, and Instant Death.

Trivia[]

  • The Blue Slime is the only Slime whose giant counterpart doesn't match its elemental theme; it is a Water-based foe, while the Giant Blue Slime is Ice-based.
