The Bubble Dress is a female armor found in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It doesn't have a hat counterpart.

Description[]

The Bubble Dress is a royal blue dress with lighter blue sections on the chest, cuffs, overskirt, and hem; the chest, cuffs, and overskirt also have white lace trim, vaguely resembling waves and sea foam.

Normal[]

The Bubble Dress gives a good boost to Defence and Magic Defence, as well as great Magic Attack (tied with the Camo Skirt, the Santa Skirt, and the Red Dress) and an increase to the damage of Water skills. This offensive combination works best with a shared skill like Bubble Ring or Bubble Blast; Natalie has no natural Water skills, and Anna's base kit is physically-inclined. The dress may also summon a Zircon Ore to buff the party's Magic Defence, helping to supplement their magical bulk while Barrier is on cooldown or otherwise unavailable.

However, the Bubble Dress's most interesting ability grants a stack of Enchanted when Defending, which can be used in combination with the Target status to nullify any single-target magic attack. This can be used in specific strategies to completely negate attacks (such as Cat Bombers).

The Bubble Dress resists Water, Weaken, Tired and Dispel. At maximum level, it is immune to all but the first.

Equip Remix[]

The Alt Bubble Dress has decent defenses and offenses alike; coupled with a modest HP boost, it's a fairly balanced piece of armor. However, it also lowers the wearer's Evade by a small amount, and it lacks any defensive effects beyond its stats; instead, it powers up Water, Wind, and Ice attacks.

While both girls can utilize the Alt Bubble Dress's abilities, Anna can exploit all three bonuses with her base skill set; in contrast, Natalie needs to learn some shared skills to use the armor's full potential. Either way, the armor's offensive potency can be further improved by stacking its elemental boosts with those of weapons like the Alt Cold Steel or the Alt Dragon Wings.

The Alt Bubble Dress resists the same elements it empowers: Water, Wind, and Ice. It won't be immune to any of them at Level 5.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]

The Bubble Dress can be bought for 20,000 gold in any Equipment Shop, e.g. Hope Harbor, Greenwood Village or Redpine Town.
