Cat Tail

The Cat Tail is a Flair available in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It is arguably one of the only Flairs in the series with a definitive armor and/or hat counterpart (other links can be debatable), namely the Maid Outfit and the Cat Ears.

Description

The Cat Tail is a long, thin fake tail; it is mostly black, but with a white tip. A pair of grey pins on the base of the tail allow it to be attached to its wearer when equipped; it is fastened to the back of the waist to emulate a real tail.

The Cat Tail moderately resists Dark, but it's mainly focused around Evade. Not only does it give a decent boost to Evade, it can buff the stat further when the wearer Defends themselves. This gives it great synergy in a Target tank build; with a single Defend, the user will draw enemy fire to themselves while increasing their chance of evading damage (and preserving Target stacks, since they're depleted with every hit the user takes). The Cat Tail works especially well with NoLegs (ironically enough), due to his very high natural Evade.

In Equip Remix, the Cat Tail replaces its Dark resistance with resistances to Doom and Instant Death (becoming immune to both at Level 3), but is otherwise unchanged.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

The Cat Tail is found inside a chest on a small island of the Rainbow River. The chest is behind a Coral Block, which requires a Coral Key to remove.
