Chocolate slimes are small brown blobs of an apparently non-chocolate pudding substance. They have two small eyes and a tiny ":3" style expression.
On their heads, Chocolate Slimes will have one of a variety of sweets, ranging from a shard of solid chocolate to a small whipped cream swirl.
Overview
As a Slime, the Chocolate Slime is a largely inconsequential foe. It deals primarily non-elemental damage with very low % of Earth damage. None of the attacks are particularly powerful, and the only thing worth noting about them is the ability (depending on the attack) to inflict Confuse or, on Hard/Epic difficulties, the dreaded Hungry.
Chocolate Slimes do absorb Earth and are immune to Wind, but as long as the player does not use either of these elements they should be able to dispatch Chocolate Slimes with ease.

Battle logic
The following describes general logic of the enemy and attack patterns, with chances of each attack to be used. Conditions are listed from highest to lowest priority unless specified otherwise.
- If catch score >55 and all players are Lovable → Surrender;
- If Berserked → Jump & Back;
- If Syphoned → Jump & Dissolve;
- Otherwise → Jump & Back (1/5), Jump & Dissolve (1/5), Wafer (1/5), Tremor (1/5), Spit (1/5).
Additionally, if any front line player has equipment that scares Slimes, the Chocolate Slime will immediately Surrender and Flee on their turn.
Summon
The foe can be captured to be used as a summon. It is the easiest method of debuffing a foe's Accuracy, having little cost and serious debuff strength.
