The Cold Steel is a Ice-elemental bow available for Anna in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.

Description

The Cold Steel, according to the description, is composed of metal (Steel) and ice (Cold). On the central metal part have grown or have been attached some blue crystals, which most probably aren't made of water for two obvious reasons:

Water is colorless, also in solid form is colorless, instead the crystals are blue.
Water crystallizes in a hexagonal form, the typical example is the snowflake, which is hexagonal. Instead the blue crystals are rectangular, even the angles between crystals are right angles.

However, some might even argue that the blue crystals are made of frozen blueberries juice in a rectangular ice cube tray, what would make the Cold Steel closely related to the Icecream Sandwich.

Cold Steel's purpose is fairly straightforward — to deal Ice damage, as seen from the above-average Attack boost, an average Magic Attack boost, and the power boost to Ice skills. It also provides slight bonuses to Defence and Magic Defence, at the cost of a slight Evade penalty. Since level 3, it gains a chance to cast Iceshard as a bonus skill, to deal extra Ice-elemental magical damage and possibly Freeze the target with single-target weapon-elemental attacks, and at level 5 can counter with one.

It resists Ice, Chill and Freeze, up to an immunity from the latter two, but is weak to Fire. It can Freeze targets with weapon-elemental attacks, though the status may be immediately consumed by Iceshard; if aiming to Freeze a single target, the Frost Arrow skill will serve much better.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

Found in the last section of the Mystic Woods, reachable using the newly acquired Raft after defeating Laurelin.
