The Dark Bush is a recurring foe in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, first appearing in Epic Battle Fantasy 3, and a summon in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It appears mostly in ashy areas, such as Volcano Peak (EBF3), The Rapture (EBF5), and certain parts of Ashwood Forest and Lankyroot Jungle (EBF4). It is a member of the Bush enemy class.

Appearance[]

The Dark Bush is a black-colored bush with demonic red eyes, bull horns and sharp nails. In EBF3, it has multiple possible appearances (the only difference is how much its horns are broken), with the fourth one having twice the chance to be chosen; in EBF4, only that one is left. In EBF5, it gains some horn variants back, with equal chance for each.

Overview[]

In contrast to its flammable brethren, the Dark Bush has Fire and Ice resistance (or is neutral to them in EBF3), Dark absorption/immunity, but doesn't absorb Water. That said, it's still just a weak bush and is easily defeated, especially with attacks hitting an elemental weakness, which vary between games. However, as with other Bushes, watch out for its (de)buff abilities helping its stronger allies in combat.
