The Demon Tail is a non-elemental staff available for Natalie in Epic Battle Fantasy 3.
Description[]
The Demon Tail is a red staff with an ornate head resembling an orb surrounded by two bat-like wings. The wings have long, trailing projections that spiral around the top of the shaft, and a pair of small curved spikes protrude beneath them, giving the head a slight resemblance to a monstrous, cyclopean face.
The Demon Tail has the best Attack and MP among staves (although it's tied with the Dark Tooth in the former), which factors into its main ability: whenever Natalie uses her Normal Attack, she'll regain MP equivalent to the damage she inflicts. Unfortunately, the Demon Tail also has the worst Magic Attack bonus of any staff; it decreases Natalie's Magic Attack when first acquired, and it's tied with the Sentinel for the lowest Magic Attack among Level 5 staves. This forces Natalie to either switch staves once she's topped up her MP or settle into a supporting role; if she takes the latter option, she can use Unleash to reliably Syphon foes.
The Demon Tail resists Syphon, becoming fully immune to it at Level 5.

The Demon Tail is found in The Town, in the abandoned house next to the graveyard. The Old Key is required to unlock the door.

- The Demon Tail bears a resemblance to the Evil Wings staff from MapleStory.
- Aesthetically, the Demon Tail resembles the Dragon Wings from Epic Battle Fantasy 5, being a red staff with a head featuring a central crystal flanked by leathery wings. However, the staves have little in common aside from appearance.
