Difficulty is how hard the game is. You choose it at the start of your game. The four difficulties are:
Easy
Enemies are weak. They have 70% of their normal HP and damage.
Normal
A normal adventure. All stats are normal.
Hard
The enemies are enhanced. All enemies do 130% of their normal damage.
Epic
The odds are stacked against you! All enemies do 160% of their normal damage. Some foes have bonuses that work only in Epic mode! In EBF 4, you can earn the bosses medals only by defeating them in Epic Mode.
