The Emerald Rune is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. It appears primarily in Lankyroot Jungle. It is a member of the Rune enemy class.

Appearance

The Emerald Rune consists of a clay sphere floating atop an also floating disk. However, the sphere itself is bizarre, with emeralds jutting out of it, two small holes resembling eyes, and a pair of protrusions that vaguely resemble horns pointed downwards. The disk has a series of illegible symbols, three small spheres underneath it, and a single emerald sticking out of the bottom.

Overview

The Emerald Rune is a low tier able to use basic non-elemental and Earth attacks. While not seen often, the Emerald Rune is not a huge threat and can be dealt with easily. Emerald Runes are notable for being the only kind of Rune to be incapable of self-destructing.

Emerald Runes resist Earth and Poison. However, they have plenty of weaknesses; they can be easily taken out with the likes of Air Strike or Pulsar.
