It is a large black sword with silver edges, a pair of small projections near the tip of the blade, and flowing white runes along the middle of the blade.
It has the highest offensive stats in the game, outright doubling Attack (beaten only by Anarchy) and Magic Attack (not beaten by anything) at max level, as well as granting Holy, Dark, and Dispel resistance. To make the Equilibrium even better is the fact that it occasionally gives Matt Auto-Revive, and it has a seamless Syphon infliction chance with Weapon-elemental skills. The trade-off is that both Accuracy and Evade are reduced by 10%, regardless of the sword's level, and occasional Legend counters will further decrease them via inflicting Tired onto the user. While not nearly as damming of an issue as the Anarchy's debuffs, the Equilibirum still can be somewhat difficult to use, and so having a party member with Cleanse on the front lines is a must.
Equilibrium can also be called an upgraded version of Rune Blade (though it lacks several Rune Blade features like MP drain), having slightly higher Magic Attack boost and twice the Syphon infliction chance. With Unleash, maxed Equilibrium has 200% chance to inflict the status onto a single target, giving a guarantee to Syphon any Monoliths as long as the attack hits. The Equilibrium also has far more runes than the Rune Blade.

- As with many other weapons found on Battle Mountain, the Equilibrium metaphorically represents one of the bosses in the main game; in this case, Godcat.
