Eruption is an expert Fire-based skill used by Matt in the Epic Battle Fantasy series.

Description

Eruption involves the user hitting the ground to make a pillar of lava erupt from beneath an opponent, dealing heavy physical Fire damage.

Eruption costs 55 MP to use. It's more powerful with the Inferno sword equipped.

Epic Battle Fantasy 2

Eruption's MP cost was lowered slightly (50 MP instead of 55). It has 110 accuracy and 60 power, and 75% of the damage is Fire elemental. It's more powerful with the Inferno sword equipped.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

In EBF5, Matt now learns a different skill with the same name, and the original version of Eruption became a foe-only spell, used only by Big Lava Slimes, Earth Dragons and Natalia.
