Stat Evade

This article lists the ways to impact the Evade stat. For a general description of the stat, see Stats#Evade.

Epic Battle Fantasy 2[]

The only sort of temporary Evade (de)buff in this game is the Defend command, which, besides reducing incoming damage, adds 20 points to user's base Evade for one turn.

Skill bonuses providing boosts to base Evade:

  • Eagle Eye for Matt — +5
  • Mighty Mage for Natalie — +4
  • Elusive for Natalie — +20 (+10 before the EBF Collection update)
  • Ninja for Natalie — +20 (stacks with Elusive for +40 in total)

Epic Battle Fantasy 3[]

Evade buffs are available to players through the following means:

  • Guardian — up to 30% strength.
  • Reflex — up to 30% strength, targets all players.
  • Unleash with Swift Brand (sword) — up to 50% strength, targets self.
  • Unleash with Nimbus (staff) — up to 50% strength, targets self.
  • Unleash with Super Snipe (gun) — up to 50% strength, targets self.
  • Ninja Cloak (male armor) and Ninja Skirt (female armor) buff the user when hit by a powerful attack and thrown offscreen — 15% strength at level 4 and 20% at level 5.

Equipment with resistance to Evade debuffs:

Evade debuffs are available to players through the following means:

  • Bind — up to 100% chance and 50% strength, targets all foes.
  • Plasma (only at level 3) — 20% chance, 20% strength, 2 hits.
  • Plasmawave (only at level 3) — 50% chance, 20% strength, targets all foes.
  • Plasmacross (only at level 3) — 40% chance and 20% strength for the chosen foe, 40% chance and 10% strength for other foes.
  • Bubble Stone (throwable item) casts Bubbles — 80% chance, 30% strength.
  • Unleash with Blizzard (sword) — up to 150% chance and 50% strength.
  • Unleash with Arctic Wind (staff) — up to 150% chance and 50% strength.
  • Thunder Core (gun) may counter with Plasma since upgrade level 4 — 20% chance, 20% strength, 2 hits, works only at skill level 3.

Evade buffs are available to players through the following means:

  • Casual Cap (male hat), Karate Gi (male armor) and School Uniform (female armor, Premium only) buff the user when hit by a powerful attack and thrown offscreen — up to 30% strength.

Evade debuffs are available to players through the following means:

  • Bind — up to 100% chance and 40% strength, targets all foes.
  • Plasma Shot — up to 60% chance and 25% strength.
  • Plasma Wave — up to 60% chance and 25% strength, targets all foes.
  • Plasma Field — up to 80% chance and 30% strength, centers on one foe.
  • Frost Sprite (summon) — 100% chance, 30% strength, targets all foes.
  • Absolute Zero (Limit Break) — up to 100% chance and 50% strength, targets all foes.

  • Dark Lance's Plasma Field — 100% chance, 50% strength, centers on one player. (In the Kongregate version, this attack instead buffs players' evade by 30%. It works properly in the Steam version.)
  • Dark Natalie's Absolute Zero — 100% chance, 30% strength, targets all players.
  • Defender's Bind — 80% chance, 50% strength, targets all players.
  • Evil Worm's oil burp — 100% chance, 20% strength, targets all players.
  • Fridge Turret's coolant spray — 30% chance, 20% strength, targets all players.
  • Frose's bubbles — 100% chance, 15% strength, targets all players.
  • Frose's Bulb Splash — 80% chance, 20% strength.
  • Gunslinger's rocket/Plasma Field — 60% chance, 30% strength, centers on one player.
  • Mage Bird's Slow Down — 80% chance, 50% strength.
  • Praetorian's Plasma Field — 60% chance, 30% strength, centers on one player.
  • River Squid's bubbles — 100% chance, 15% strength, targets all players.
  • River Squid's spit — 100% chance, 20% strength.
  • The Creator's Absolute Zero — 100% chance, 30% strength, targets all players.
