The Fairy is a Flair available in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.
Description[]
The Fairy is a small sparkling orb of blue-white light with two pairs of insect-like wings sticking out of the back. When equipped, it hovers over the character's right shoulder.
Functionally, the Fairy is a new iteration of EBF4's Angel Pin. It resists Holy and randomly gives two stacks of Auto-Revive between turns, but it also gains the ability to give its wearer a turn of Auto-Revive if they defend themselves. This trait allows the Fairy to be used in combination with the Target status to create a decoy character, who defends every turn and absorbs all attacks. Alternatively, it can be used with equipment that boost stats (such as the Curly Horns or the Genji Armor) to nearly guarantee the buffs lasting until the next turn. All in all, the Fairy is an incredibly powerful and versatile item that can play many different roles.
In Equip Remix, it instead resists Dark, allowing players to better defend against Dark foes.

The Fairy is found inside a chest in the Rainbow River, on the same screen as the Slime Cat. The chest is hidden behind a tree and in a small separated area only accessible from the previous screen.

Trivia[]
- The Fairy Flair closely resembles the depiction of Fairies in many games from the Legend of Zelda series. Its white-blue glow and equipment description indicate that it's specifically a parody of Navi, the Fairy companion from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
- The Fairy's ability to grant Auto-Revive is also similar to the main use of Fairies in the Legend of Zelda series; if the player has one in a bottle when they die, the Fairy will automatically revive them with a significant amount of health restored.
- The Fairy Flair is visually identical to the fairies summoned by the Fairy Bombs skill. Another Fairy is one of the flying objects that NoLegs can chase in one of his idle animations.
