The Gold Star is a Flair available in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5. In EBF4, it is exclusive to the Steam release of the game and the Premium Pack. In EBF5, it is currently exclusive to the paid Steam release of the game and the outdated free Battle Demo.
Description[]
The Gold Star is a fancy golden badge in the shape of a five-pointed star; in EBF5, it has a very faint yellow glow, most noticeable around the points. As per normal flair standard, male characters wear it on their chest, while females wear it either on their skirt, or (in EBF4 only) on their hair if it is equipped in the third Flair slot.
The Gold Star provides a reasonably high boost to Magic Attack when worn, higher than that of the Balance Badge or even most hats and armor. This obviously makes it a valuable addition to a magic-focused offensive build, but it can also be used to power up healing spells in a support build.
Like the other Premium-exclusive Flairs of EBF4, the Gold Star remains practically unchanged in EBF5; however, Equip Remix moves a third of its Magic Attack boost into Accuracy. This makes it a little weaker overall, but the added Accuracy can be helpful when battling evasive foes or offsetting the penalties of gear like the Alt Death Mask or the Alt Flame Titan

The Gold Star is found in a chest at the eastern side of Battle Mountain's peak; the chest appears after beating the Miniboss Rush.
