The Green Clay is a foe that appears in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. It is one of many members in the Clays enemy class.


The Green Clay is a human-shaped living statue like all Clays, in this case the Green Clay is stylized so as to resemble a ranger. It wields a bow (which may or may not be fused with its hands) and wears green armor with a small golden crest. It has a "Z" as its sigil in place of face.


As a Clay, the Green Clay is a foe of medium power that should not be completely ignored but is still not a serious threat.

Offensively, the Green Clay has three versions of the same attack (each version having varying power and amount of targets) along with its personal brand of Gaia Bloom. These are modeled after Anna's skills: Piercing Shot, Combo Shot and Arrow Rain; all are 30% Poison-elemental and can inflict the Poison status, making choosing resistances simple, though as the foe doesn't have much health and has several elemental weaknesses, it shouldn't live long enough to stack a lot of Poison on the players for it to become a serious issue.

Ironically, while Green Clay absorbs the Poison element, it is still immune to the Poison status, like other Clays, decreasing the usefulness of the absorption.
