The Green Cross is a Flair available in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5.

Description[]

The Green Cross is a shiny badge resembling a pixelated circle. It has a white background and a large green cross, a common trademark-friendly version of the Red Cross. As per normal flair standard, male characters wear it on their chest, while females wear it either on their skirt, or (in EBF4 only) on their hair if it is equipped in the third Flair slot.

The Green Cross has a chance (up to 30% at max level, in both games) to give its wearer the Regen status between turns.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4[]

The Green Cross's only effect is randomly providing Regen to the wearer between turns. Despite its lack of stats and resistances, its auto-status makes it a useful filler Flair when more specific effects are not required.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]

The Green Cross has a marginal Magic Defence boost, but its best asset is its ability to grant Regen to its wearer. Initially, it will occasionally give the status between turns, but upgrading it to Level 3 enables it to also grant the status when its wearer uses the Defend Tactic. This makes it a powerful asset for tank characters, who can combine it with the Target Badge or the Agnry Faic's Target on Defend to redirect attacks and then regenerate the lost health on the next turn; combining it with equipment that grants other positive statuses like Bless or Auto-Revive will further improve their survivability.

The Green Cross resists Burn and Scorch, though this does not become an immunity when fully upgraded. In Equip Remix, it instead resists Chill and Freeze to the same degree per level.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4[]

The Green Cross can be purchased in Greenwood Village's equipment shop for 2,500 gold.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]

The Green Cross is found in a chest inside the Hope Harbor Material Shop. The chest is behind the counter; there is a hidden path on the right side of the shop that enables access to it.
