The Green Jelly is a nature-themed foe that was introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. It appears mainly in the Waste Disposal Plant and Lankyroot Jungle.
Appearance[]
The Green Jelly has a rounded, translucent green bell with a large, leaf-shaped growth extending from the top. A pink flower and numerous green lily pads grow on its bell, obscuring a significant portion from view. Six green oral arms dangle from the bottom of its body, with the longest pair ending in three tiny spikes.
Overview[]
Being nature-themed, Green Jellies specialize in Poison attacks. All of their moves deal Poison damage and are capable of inflicting Poison; however, they aren't particularly damaging unless the Poison is allowed to stack significantly. Incidentally, their strongest attack (Nettle) also has a slightly lower Poison chance than their other moves.
Ironically enough, the Green Jelly is extremely weak to Poison damage and has no resistance to the Poison status effect, allowing players to beat it at its own game. Alternatively, it takes extra damage from Ice, Thunder, and especially Fire, which players should easily be able to take advantage of by the time it begins appearing. It also has a significant Freeze vulnerability, which further encourages the use of Ice attacks. On the other hand, it has the standard Jelly resistances as well; Bomb resistance, Earth immunity, and Water absorption.

Battle Logic[]
The following describes general logic of the enemy and attack patterns, with chances of each attack to be used. Conditions are listed from highest to lowest priority unless specified otherwise.
- Berserked or/and Syphoned → Jab;
- Otherwise → Jab (1/3), Ivy (1/3), Nettle (1/3).
Trivia[]
- The Green Jelly is the the only Jelly that did not gain eyes after the Battle Mountain update.
- The Green Jelly replaces the Red Jelly as the Poison-themed member of the Jelly family, since the Red Jelly was turned into a Fire-based enemy in EBF4.
