The Green Pixel is a foe and a summon in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It is found the Glitch areas, namely the Mystic Woods glitch zone.

Appearance

Like the rest of the Pixels, this foe looks like a retro version of another foe in the game, in this case a Mud Slime, and it has very minimalist animation reminiscent of old RPGs.

Overview

The Green Pixel is effectively a very powerful Mud Slime, boasting stronger skills and double the offensive power. It also has vastly more health. The Green Pixel has a mere three skills, allowing it to either inflict Poison, Tired, or on harder difficulties Heavy. While it is not hard to defeat, the Green Pixel can catch players unawares if they assume it is a harmless foe that can be taken out with little effort.

Jus like Slimes, the Green Pixel has -100% Death and Doom resistance, guaranteeing infliction of the statuses when using attacks that have at least 50% infliction chance. It's also affected by Slime intimidating gear.

Elementally speaking the Green Pixel is identical to the Green Slime barring the fact that it is immune to Chill, Freeze and Stun.

Battle Logic

The following describes general logic of the enemy and attack patterns, with chances of each attack to be used. Conditions are listed from highest to lowest priority unless specified otherwise.

Action

  • If catchscore >55 and all players are Lovable → Surrender;
  • If Syphoned or Berserked → Earth Strike;
  • Otherwise → Tiring Strike (1/3), Earth Strike (1/3), Poisonous Strike (1/3).

Counter (only if Counter-Attacking Foes is enabled)

  • 50% → Poisonous Strike.

Additionally, if any front line player has equipment that scares Slimes, the Green Pixel will immediately Surrender and Flee on their turn.

Summon

The foe can be captured to be used as a summon. When summoned, it uses Tiring Strike to hit a single foe with weak Bio damage and five stacks of Tired.
