The Heartstopper is a Thunder-elemental gun available to Lance in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It is currently exclusive to the paid Steam release of the game and the outdated free Battle Demo.

Description

The Heartstopper shots electric charges, it is made of a black material, which surrounds a golden lighting. The front of the weapon is shaped like a pincer, in which the electric charges are generated.

The Heartstopper gives an average boost to Attack and Magic Attack, as well as slightly boosting Defence and Magic Defence. It resists Thunder, Bomb and Stun. The Heartstopper is an alternative to the Thunder Core, both weapons boost the damage of Thunder skills, which is one of the Lance's innate element, as he has the skills Plasma Shot/Plasma Wave/Plasma Field, which are magical skills and the Thunder Core boosts Magical Attack a little bit more than the Heartstopper. On the side the Heartstopper boost Attack more than the Thunder core, moreover at level 3 it can unleash Spark while attacking, which is a Thunder skill. All in all the Thunder Core does a little bit more damage with the Thunder skills but the Heartstopper deal more damage with the Normal Attack. Because Lance's Thunder skills have a cool-down of 1 turn, the most logical sequence is to alternate the Thunder skills with Normal Attacks, what favors the Heartstopper over the Thunder Core.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

Found inside a chest in Crystal Caverns, the chest is behind Vulcan, who has to be defeated before.
