Hurricane buffeting a wave of foes, Epic Battle Fantasy 4
Hurricane is an expert Wind-elemental skill available for Anna in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5. It is the upgraded and area-of-effect version of both Gust and Whirlwind.
Description[]
When cast, a swarm of small tornadoes are blasted at the foes, dealing magical Wind damage to all targets. It also has a chance of debuffing their Magic Defence; in EBF5, it can also inflict them with the Light status effect. Because of this, Hurricane can be used for both offensive and support purposes; however, the former is slightly hampered by Anna's middling Magic Attack stat.

Hurricane is one of the rare skills with no critical hit chance, preventing it from scoring a critical hit without the assistance of status effects like Brave or Stagger.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]
Hurricane is the upgraded version of Whirlwind and the final form of Gust. It can either target all foes or just one, acting like Whirlwind when used against a single target.
Compared to its EBF4 version, Hurricane has a normal critical hit rate, a little more power at its second and third levels, and a better infliction chance on its special effects. It also lacks a cooldown, making it easy to spam if necessary with the removal of MP.
