The Ice Idol is a foe that appears in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. It usually appears in cold areas, such as Crystal Caverns, Waste Disposal Plant and the ice cave area of the Temple of Godcat. It is one of many members of the Idol enemy class.


There are 3 variations of Ice Idol. The first appears to have a carved out jaw and two stalagmites on its head. The second vaguely resembles a reindeer or some animal with horns on its head. The third is far more humanoid, but is still shaped like a square. It also possesses a odd mouth shaped carving.


Ice Idol attacks primarily by jumping at a player and slamming into the ground, or casting low level magic. It also possesses a more dangerous attack in which it walks over to the target, jumps, and releases a burst of frost. This attack has a chance to Freeze the target — while the chance isn't too high and can easily be countered by corresponding resistances, it's unlikely the player would have a lot of options by the time Ice Idol is first encountered. But even considering that, the foe is barely a threat, with its little health, many elemental weaknesses and weak attacks.
