The Icicle Creep is a foe and a summon in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. The are largely found in the Ice Caves beneath Hope Harbor as well as in Frozen Valley. It is a member of the Creeps enemy group.

Appearance

Icicle Creeps are six-legged arthropods of some sort that have navy blue skin and have a massive blue shard of ice on their back for their "shell". They have a large mandible and a set of four yellow eyes with black irises.

Apparently, global warming melts the ice on their back/threatens their habitats.

Overview

Icicle Creeps are foes capable of defensive tactics and a lot of Ice. They can hit the party with moderate Ice attacks, and are capable of inflicting Chill and Freeze when doing so. While the chances are not alarmingly high, this can increase the chances of being frozen by other foes, especially if a foe capable of inflicting Wet is present. Icicle Creeps are also capable of Defending, and will apply a generous Magic Defence buff to themselves on harder difficulties. Overall, while Icicle Creeps can put the party in an easily frozen situation, they are not overly dangerous for the most part.

Icicle Creeps absorb Ice and Water. However, they are weak to Bio, Fire, Holy and especially Earth. This means that while Cataclysm and Lumber work best, the party has plenty of means through which to take down Icicle Creeps.
