- "I'm not afraid of no potato cannon!"
- ―Matt reacting to a Leaf Wraith's tubular shots, Epic Battle Fantasy 5
The Leaf Wraith is a foe and a summon in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It is primarily found in the Mystic Woods. It is a member of the Wraiths enemy group.
Appearance[]
The Leaf Wraith takes the form of a brown hood with green, mossy patches. It has a pair of branches with leaves on them forming the "horns", and a pair of light green eyes glow from within the "face" of the hood.
Overview[]
The Leaf Wraith is a mid-tier foe that uses a variety of Bio attacks and can inflict a moderate amount of statuses.
Leaf Wraiths are notable for being able to target players that are not resistant to Bio, which can be annoying if the party's Bio-resistant equipment is spread thin. They can also inflict Poison, Stagger, Doom, and on harder difficulties Disable. Fortunately, these are typically not too worrisome, though this can potentially cause some issues with the player's strategies.
Leaf Wraiths absorb both Bio and Dark, but are weak to Fire, Wind and Holy. They are notably immune to Weaken, Tired, and Curse as well as Bad Luck. Their elemental resistances are almost identical with More Foe Resistance on, but they have Thunder absorption as well as less significant weaknesses. Bullet Hell is quite effective at getting rid of them, and both Blessed Barrage and Judgement make for great single-target options.

Battle Logic[]
The following describes general logic of the enemy and attack patterns, with chances of each attack to be used. Conditions are listed from highest to lowest priority unless specified otherwise.
Action
- If catch score >55 and all players are Lovable → Flee;
- If Berserked → Triple Shot;
- If Syphoned → Double Stab;
- Otherwise → Double Stab (1/5), Bio Bash (1/5), Triple Shot (1/5), Leaf Blade (1/5), Dark Swoop (1/5).
* Double Stab, Bio Bash and Leaf Blade will prioritize targets that aren't resistant to Bio.
Counter (only if Counter-Attacking Foes is enabled)
- 25% and not Syphoned → Leaf Blade.
Additionally, if any front line player has equipment that scares Ghosts, the Leaf Wraith will simply Surrender on their turn.
Summon[]
The foe can be captured to be used as a summon.
