The Leafy Hairclip, known before as the Leaf Clip in EBF4, is a female hat available in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5. Its armor counterpart is the Cactus Dress.
Description[]
The Leafy Hairclip is a pair of hairclips resembling green leaves, although it is unclear if these are real or fake (their description in EBF5 implies the former). The wearer's hair is styled into a pair of ringlets that hang from the sides of her head.
In EBF4, the Leaf Clip consists of two leaves. In EBF5, it gains a small third leaf and a visible brown clip or tie at the bottom. In both appearances, it is an average defensive headgear with resistance to Bio and Poison.
Epic Battle Fantasy 4[]
The Leaf Clip has no special effects, but grants average bonuses to Defence, Magic Defence and Magic Attack. It's slightly more effective for Natalie, who has a wider range of spells to exploit its offensive boost, but Anna can also make use of the Magic Attack if she's using her Wind or healing spells.
The Leaf Clip resists Bio and Poison, becoming immune to the latter at Level 5. It also has a slight weakness to Fire, which remains at 30% no matter its forging level.
Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]

The Leafy Hairclip has decent Defence and Magic Defence, along with a small bonus to Magic Attack and Attack. It can randomly summon a Leaf Wraith between turns, dealing moderate Bio damage with a chance of Poison and Magic Defence debuffs to its target. It also gives the Bless status to the wearer when Defending, protecting her from status effects and Dispel.
The Leafy Hairclip resists Bio, Earth, Poison and Virus, becoming immune to the latter two at Level 5.
Equip Remix[]
The Alt Leafy Hairclip has minor boosts to Defence and Magic Defence, but its Attack is second only to the Alt Royal Crown and it powers up the wearer's debuff skills. Its stats are best suited for an offensive Anna build, but Natalie can make better use of its debuff boost; plan your builds accordingly, especially before facing Fire-based enemies.
The Alt Leafy Hairclip resists Earth, which does not become an immunity at Level 5. It is also vulnerable to Fire, Burn, and Scorch, which remain constant at all forging.
Epic Battle Fantasy 4[]
The Leaf Clip is available from the beginning of the game as Anna's alternative to the Yellow Bauble.
