Log is a basic Earth-elemental skill available for Anna in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5.
Description[]
When cast, a large brown log with a pointed tip bursts out of the ground beneath the target. This deals moderate physical Earth damage with a chance to Stagger the target.
Log primarily serves as Anna's basic Earth attack until Lumber becomes available. However, it's somewhat notable in EBF4 for having a Stagger infliction chance much higher than Lumber's; in fact, it's among the highest in the game, rivaled only by certain weapon-elemental skills with the Diamond Pin flair. This allows Log to retain a niche in damage stacking combos even after being eclipsed in power; this is a non-issue in EBF5, where Lumber simply replaces Log once it's upgraded far enough, and also has the higher Stagger chance.
