I've been thinking that in EBF5, there's a lot of skills that aren't directly available to the players, but can be emulated by specific enemy Summons. An example would be the Flame Wraith summon casting Hellfire. On the respective skill pages, is it okay if I edit in Summons which use the skill as a source to the players?
Hey, thanks for correcting those small (and not so small) mistakes i do while adding new info. I plan to slowly finish the "to-do" list on EBF5 status effects. Any advise, tip, recomendation or rule i need to know is welcome. Is good to know you have me covered! :)
I'd generally say that for equipment and skills, you can just list the chance they have of inflicting the status at max level ("Up to x chance), mainly to have the same format as previous games. Other than that, I saw that on the Brave page you grouped together the "Buff" skills of various enemies, since the buffs from those various enemies differ in number of stacks of Brave they give, it's better to separate them (also because "Buff" is just a generic name a lot of enemies share for simplicity's sake, so it can't really be considered the same skill).
Btw, remember to also list the number of stacks for other statuses, I've seen than in pages like Poison or Burn you only listed chance but not stacks. Also, try to follow the format used in previous games when it comes to sub-headings, since otherwise it doesn't show up in the table of contents (see the changes I made to the Poison (status) page). On that note, are you using the visual editor or the source editor? the latter is preferred because the visual editor tends to mess up some stuff when it comes to formatting, so the source editor is generally a better option.
Other than Equipment, the main things I'd say were kinda iffy were the "The player can Dispel the Regen if they wish" and "The Rafflesia healing can give you chances to buff" parts. For the first, the way you worded it implied it was something optional and not a big deal if you don't Dispel the Rafflesia's Regen and buffs, which is definitely not the case. And for the second, just because it didn't attack you, doesn't automatically equate a free turn, you're still gonna spend an action Dispelling it and the fact it just cleansed itself means you may need to spend multiple actions to re-inflict any debuffs and statuses; the Rafflesia using one of its weaker attacks is more of a free turn that it healing.
Start with <div class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed" style="width:100%"> then whatever text you're including in it, and then finish with </div>. For most stuff like this you can generally copy-paste the format over (with the Classic Editor) and then change the content/text to whatever you need.
Hi Drombe, I'm Nabbit12. You've probably seen me around recently editing the pages of EBF5. Thanks for helping me out with those. I really like EBF5 specifically, and so I wanted to provide more information.
You're welcome. On that note, here's some of my personal advice which I hope helps you for any future pages you want to contribute to:
-Try to keep things concise, it's generally best to try to summarize your points in a few short sentences. Sometimes a lot of stuff can be inferred from the context or is already mentioned somewhere else in the page, so no need to write a giant block of text to try to get your point across.
-Properly link to other pages when you mention them, this includes linking to the elements, stats or status effects pages when mentioning them (the e| template is used for elements and the s| template is used for stats and status effects), and linking to weapon, skill, character or location pages. The exception is if it was already linked somewhere else earlier in the article.
-Make sure to try to copy and follow the format other similar pages use, so if you're editing a weapon page, make sure the format you're using is consistent with other weapon pages.
