The Microcontroller is a crafting item in Epic Battle Fantasy 3 and 4. It is a small black electronic chip with four silver connectors on either side and the inscription "PIC" on top. It is used for forging mostly modern and high-tech equipment, often on their first and second upgrades.
In EBF3, Microcontrollers can be bought in The Town for 50 gold. 36 of them will be needed to upgrade everything.
In EBF4, Microcontrollers are available at Greenwood Village, Whitefall Town, and Goldenbrick Resort for 60 gold. The player requires 58 in order to upgrade everything.
