- "A large pearl that looks a bit like the moon."
- ―In-game description, Epic Battle Fantasy 5
The Moon Pearl, called Pearl in EBF3, is a crafting item in Epic Battle Fantasy 3 and 5. It is a round white mineral typically used for forging primarily Holy and Water-related equipment to their last levels.
In EBF3, Pearls have a uniform sheen and can be bought in The Town for 33,000 gold. Six of them will be required to upgrade everything.
In EBF5, Moon Pearls have a rougher, pockmarked appearance that makes them resemble their namesake. They can be bought at the Material Shop of The Great Sea and Redpine Town for 48,000 gold. Twenty-seven of them will be required to upgrade everything.
Drop Rate
Moon Pearls are mainly dropped by Holy-based foes, but certain Ice and (in EBF5) Water-based foes can also drop them.
