The Nurse Hat is a female hat found in Epic Battle Fantasy 3, 4 and 5. Its armor counterpart is the Nurse Uniform (5 only).
Description[]
The Nurse Hat - as the name implies - is a typical white nurse's cap with a red square cross. There is a thin red line around the brim of the hat.
In EBF5, the Nurse Hat has a much thicker line around its brim, and both it and the cross are pink instead of red. Wearing the hat also causes its wearer to style her hair in two braids that frame her face.
In all of its appearances, the Nurse Hat has decent defensive stats, a boost to healing skills, and a resistance to Syphon that becomes a full immunity at Level 5.
Epic Battle Fantasy 3[]
The Nurse Hat gives Natalie an average amount of Defence and Magic Defence, as well as boosting the power of her healing skills. Its description specifically mentions Heal and Healmore, but it also boosts the healing effect of Kyun and the HP recovered on revival by Revive and Genesis. Coupled with its status resistance, it's a solid defensive hat to ensure Natalie can keep up a steady flow of powerful healing skills; pairing it with armors like the Pope Dress or the Cow Costume can further enhance her durability.
The Nurse Hat resists Syphon, becoming fully immune at Level 5.
Epic Battle Fantasy 4[]
With decent defenses and tiny HP and MP boosts, the Nurse Hat is a solid all-around defensive hat. It also enhances the wearer's healing skills, allowing her to keep the party's HP high while her allies focus on battling the foes; this is its main advantage over even bulkier female hats like the Cow Horns or the Slime Hat. Pairing it with the Shrine Maiden Dress or the School Uniform provides additional status resistances and a boost to healing Food; the former armor is much bulkier, but the latter has superior Evade and no redundant resistances.
The Nurse Hat resists Syphon, Death, and Doom, becoming immune to all of them at Level 5.
Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]

The Nurse Hat has fair Defence and Magic Defence along with very slight HP and Magic Attack increases. It powers up healing skills and randomly casts Heal between turns, allowing Anna or Natalie to keep themselves and their allies alive more easily. Compared to other female hats with automatic healing skills, it's the first one available (if you don't mind spending some Gold) and the only one with a healing boost; it's also slightly bulkier than the Flower Bobble and especially the Cat Ears.
The Nurse Hat resists Dark, Stun, Doom, and Instant Death. All but the first become an immunity at Level 5.
Equip Remix[]
Despite its description, the Alt Nurse Hat doesn't have any healing abilities; instead, it focuses on making Natalie or Anna much bulkier. Its only stat boost is a good amount of HP, but it can also apply drastic Defence and Magic Defence buffs when its wearer Defends herself. This makes it an effective asset for a tanking build that relies on Defend-activated effects, as well as a good complement to armors like the Alt Ranger Skirt, the Alt Cow Costume, or the Alt Cactus Dress.
The Alt Nurse Hat resists Holy, Syphon, Doom, and Instant Death. It becomes immune to all but Holy at Level 5.
Epic Battle Fantasy 3[]
The Nurse Hat is found in Vegetable Forest, inside a chest on the right bank of the river where Jack is fought. It can be reached by finding the hidden path through the trees one screen to the south.
While the description only mentions it boosts Heal and Healmore, it actually also boosts the healing of Natalie's Kyun, as well as the HP gained on revival through Revive and Genesis.

- While the Nurse Hat originally depicted a red cross in EBF3 and EBF4 (similar to the first-aid kits deployed by Medipack), Matt eventually found out that utilizing red crosses in video games violates the Geneva Convention, which is why the cross became pink in EBF5.
