Matt, Lance, and NoLegs wearing the Priest's Tunic in EBF5
The Priest's Tunic is a male armor available in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It has no hat counterpart.
Description[]
The Priest's Tunic is a sleeveless white tunic with a gray stripe down the front, a single white strap holding it shut, and a red border along the lower hem. It is worn with a long-sleeved black undershirt with white cuffs and a pair of silver discs around the collar.
When worn by Matt or Lance, the Priest's Tunic adds black trousers with silver metal cuffs, black shoes, and two black leather belts with silver buckles; one around the waist and one over the left shoulder. Matt also gets a black scarf with a red stripe on the end, which dangles behind his back. NoLegs wears a smaller version of the Priest's Tunic with a small chain or string connecting the silver discs on his collar.

The Priest's Tunic comes with a solid boost to Magic Defence and Defence; the former in particular is only second to that of the Heroic Armor. It also has small boosts to HP and Evade as well as a modest Attack penalty, but the latter should not be a significant problem in its main roles. It boosts both Holy and healing skills, as well as occasionally giving the wearer Auto-Revive between turns.
While the Priest's Tunic's Holy boost is largely irrelevant - Purging Flame has low power, and both Divine Divide and Seiken are physical - it does have merit as a defensive support armor. It has versatile resistances and the odd Auto-Revive can be useful, although the latter is unreliable without the ability to gain the status on Defend. With that said, the Space Ace tends to outperform the Priest's Tunic in most scenarios, as it has better bulk and the ability to instantly apply Regen.
The Priest's Tunic resists Dark, Holy, Poison and Virus. The latter two become an immunity at Level 5.
Equip Remix[]
The Alt Priest's Tunic has slightly below-average Defence and Magic Defence, but compensates with great HP and a little extra Evade. Its Equipment Effects are designed to keep the wearer and his allies alive; it improves Food and buffing skills, it can occasionally give Regen to its wearer between turns, and it has a chance to summon a Light Clay to heal the entire party (including backup).
As a support armor, the Alt Priest's Tunic isn't as versatile as the Alt Camo Jacket or the Alt Santa Outfit; the latter also boasts greater bulk, albeit with a significant Evade drop. However, its auto-status and Light Clay summon give it some passive healing utility that its competition lacks, and it remains an effective armor for Matt or NoLegs's buff builds. Lance prefers other armors for support purposes, since a buff boost is largely wasted on him.
The Alt Priest's Tunic has Dark, Holy, Poison and Virus resistances, becoming immune to the latter two at Level 5.
Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]
The Priest's Tunic is found inside a chest in the 30 Medals Room of the Grand Gallery. The chest is guarded by a battle that appears as an Angel Mirror.
