The Purple Jelly is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It is a member of the Jelly enemy class.

Purple Jelly is replaced by Yellow Jelly in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 as a Thunder-oriented Jelly.

The Purple Jelly combines the long tentacles of the Red Jelly with the larger pair of tentacles of the Blue Jelly, and its transparent "bell" is covered with bubble-like growths. It appears only in Rock Lake, and only in four instances.

The Purple Jelly primarily uses weaker versions of Thunderbolt and Plasmawave to deal magical Thunder damage to a single target or the entire party, with the latter having a chance to debuff Evade. Syphoning the Purple Jelly will completely disable it, while Earth and Ice skills will be able to quickly bring it down.
