The Purple Jelly is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It is a somewhat rare foe, only appearing in four battles in Rock Lake.
Appearance[]
The Purple Jelly is aptly named: a large jellyfish tinted various shades of purple. Its main body is a dark purple mass of blobby organs surrounded by a membranous bell covered with bubble-like growths. Eight oral arms dangle from the base of the bell, with two resembling the long arms of the Red Jelly and two more resembling the larger arms of the Blue Jelly.
Overview[]
The Purple Jelly is the Thunder-based member of its family in EBF3, using two spells against the party. Thunderbolt is its stronger option, but Plasmawave hits all three players at once with slightly better Accuracy and a fair chance to debuff Evade. Resisting Thunder damage greatly reduces its damage output, but it's more efficient to either kill it outright or hit it with Syphon to leave it completely helpless.
The Purple Jelly is weak to Earth and especially Ice, but resists Fire and absorbs Thunder and especially Water. It's also very vulnerable to Syphon.
