The Red Slime is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It appears mostly around the fiery wasteland that is the Volcano Peak. It is a member of the Slime enemy class.

Red Slime is a simple red blob with tiny black dot eyes and mouth. It is covered with chunks of either coal, active patches of volcanic rock, or bones from some unknown animal.

Red Slime is a fairly weak foe who is capable of doing little more than deal minor Fire damage and possibly debuff Evade. However, it has a startling attribute that makes it annoying to fight against; it takes zero damage from any magical attacks. This means that Matt should take care of these slimes with Swift Slash, or Seiken if the player wishes. Lance's gunblade skills like Double Shot will also deal some damage. Natalie's best option is the Meow Meow skill if it was taught to her, otherwise she will have to use her Normal Attack, attacking items, or Doom/Instant Death with the Death Bringer staff.

Though the foe has several weaknesses, Holy is the only one that can be properly exploited (weapon-elemental attacks notwithstanding), due to the lack of powerful (or any) physical skills of other elements.

The Red Slime is completely immune to any source of magical damage, any magical attack that hits it will deal 0 damage instead. However, that doesn't prevent status effects nor stat debuffs from being inflicted.
Prior to the 2016 update, Fire- and Poison-elemental attacks were an exception to the rule, independent of their element %. With these exceptions cut, the slime can no longer heal from its allies' area-of-effect Fire attacks, and cannot be damaged by the Poison status despite being weak to the element.
