The Sami Dress is a female armor found in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It doesn't have any hat counterpart.
Description[]
The Sami Dress is a blue dress with vivid yellow and red designs on the cuffs, belt and skirt hem. It also comes with a white bib with a small yellow button near the collar, as well as white boots with pointed toes and red and yellow ribbons around the ankles.
Normal[]
The Sami Dress gives a good boost to Defence and Magic Defence, as well as slightly boosting Attack and Magic Attack. While it powers up Wind skills, it is most notable for its buff-boosting effect, making it particularly suited for Natalie's buffer build.
Compared to the Casual Skirt, which also boosts buffs, the Sami Dress has better defenses and elemental resistances in exchange for not boosting Evade or Food and providing less offensive power. Since buff builds generally focus on bulk over damage-dealing, the Sami Dress is usually a superior choice unless Anna or Natalie are using an Evade-heavy build or making extensive use of Food for healing and buffing purposes.
The Sami Dress resists Wind and Holy, with neither becoming an immunity at Level 5.
Equip Remix[]
The Alt Sami Dress spurns the buff boost of its regular counterpart in exchange for a variety of utility effects. It has solid Defence and Magic Defence boosts, and somewhat raises both HP and Evade. However, what makes it stand out are its Equipment Effects; it boosts status infliction rates and applies Enchanted to the user when she Defends herself. It can also steal items from enemies with single-target melee attacks, being the only female Alt armor to do so; this does not have in-battle applications, but can be useful for farming.
While the Alt Sami Dress is certainly a more capable choice than the Alt School Uniform for a pure status build, it is in turn largely outclassed by the Alt Ranger Skirt, which has even better defenses and Evade along with a means to boost the latter further. As a result, its main niche is in an Enchant Tank build, where it usually outperforms the Alt Dark Gown due to better overall bulk (assuming all magic damage is negated).
The Alt Sami Dress resists Wind and Dark, with neither becoming an immunity at Level 5.

The Sami Dress is found inside a chest at the eastern end of the Crystal Caverns, accessible after defeating the Crystal Hydra.
