Sandworm is one of the bosses in Epic Battle Fantasy 2 and one of the minibosses of Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It has a special, when it is very damaged, it starts spitting its own blood frequently. It is weak to holy and ice, but strong against earth.

Take note that in the second game, it is also accompanied by a sandworm-tail, and is weak to water and ice, instead of holy and ice.

Sandworm info (EBF3)

LOL! It is a****ing(at bottom)

Attacks

  • Bumps a player with its head.
  • Burps, doing wind elemental damage to all players.
  • Spits acid at all players, poisoning them.
  • Spits sand on players, lowering accuracy. (Blind in EBF2)
  • Chews on a player, dealing a large amount of damage to it.
  • Spits blood on all players, deadly poisoning the players. (Only when weakened.)

Strategy

(For Epic Battle Fantasy 2)

Use Regen to counter the poison. Use Protect to lower damage income from its non-elemental attacks. Use Iceshard and Iceberg frequently on the wormtail to take it down first, cause it wont respawn. Then do the same against the Sandworm to heavily damage it. Use Purify if the poison gets too dangerous. Equipped with the Blizzard, using Legend and Cleaver could also do high damage. Using Healmore can be good, if he is spamming the blood attack. Repeat all this until it dies.

(For Epic Battle Fantasy 3)

First, you want to unleash any Limit Breaks, but only if your party's level is low. Regen also is a good idea for the weaker players. Then, max out poison and negative accuracy on the boss, and focus your attacks on the sandworm's allies. After that is done, Focus on the boss, using holy and ice. Lower the boss's accuracy again, and maybe lower evade as well, especially if you are using Iceberg, which has "crap" accuracy. Lance has no ice or holy attacks, but equipping Ark Angel and using Unload could still give Lance some offensive opportunities. Otherways, use the Bind, Flare and Medipack skills with Lance to help the party. Medipack or Purify can be used if the poison gets too deadly.
