Santa Hat (female)

The Santa Hat is a seasonal female hat available in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. Its armor counterpart is the Santa Outfit and it was succeeded by the Holly Hairpin in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.

Description[]

The Santa Hat appears as a red and white knit cap with a white pom-pom ball, similar in design to the hat that Santa Claus is usually depicted in.

The Santa Hat has average Defence and Magic Defence along with an incidental Magic Attack boost. It may cast Snow Blast between turns; it's not very powerful, but it has a decent chance to Freeze foes, especially with Wet support.

Overall, the Santa Hat is nearly completely outclassed by the Fur Hat, which offers better stats and resistances in addition to a more useful auto-summon; even outside of Premium content, the Ice Shards have identical defenses and additional Evade. However, the Santa Hat does have a small niche as the only female hat with Freeze resistance; coupled with the fact that it's available in Greenwood Village, it can be a useful asset for the party's first trip through the Crystal Caverns and Whitefall Town.

The Santa Hat resists Ice and Freeze, with the latter becoming an immunity at level 5.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4[]

The Santa Hat can be purchased for 300 gold in any equipment shop if your computer's calendar is set to December.
