The Sea Shell is a recurring crafting item in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It is a spiky shell used for forging mostly Water-based equipment that can be purchased at any Material Shop in all three games it appears in.
In EBF3, the Sea Shell resembles an orange conch shell with a pink interior. It costs 250 gold, with 48 being required for all of the relevant upgrades.
In EBF4, the Sea Shell retains its EBF3 appearance and costs 180 gold to purchase. To upgrade everything, 78 will be needed.
In EBF5, the Sea Shell has a new design, being a roughly conical tan shell with thick brown stripes and two small spikes on one side. It costs 200 gold in the Material Shops, and 54 are needed to upgrade everything; interestingly, some Thunder-based gear requires Sea Shells to be forged in this game.
