Seiken

Seiken is one of Matt's recurring Bushido skills in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, having appeared in all of the main games. When cast, a runed circle appears in front of an enemy, diagonally facing the ground. From this circle, a sword-shaped blast of white energy erupts, dealing high damage to a single target.

Seiken's damage is a combination of Holy and non-elemental. Its power can be boosted by equipping the Heaven's Gate.

The skill was renamed Holy Sword in EBF4.

Epic Battle Fantasy

In EBF, it costs 77 MP to use. It's more powerful with the Heaven's Gate or Rune Blade swords equipped.

Epic Battle Fantasy 2

In EBF2, it costs 70 MP to use. It has 100 accuracy and 80 power, and 75% of the damage is Holy elemental. It's more powerful with the Heaven's Gate sword equipped.

Epic Battle Fantasy 3

The skills Wind Slash and Unleash need to be learned first as prerequisites.

Trivia

The sword summoned by Seiken is a white silhouette of Heaven's Gate.
Seiken's animation may be inspired by the attack Matt used to defeat Natalie in Brawl Royale. However, the Seiken skill uses a much smaller sword made of pure energy, and the summoning portal is visible on-screen.
The symbols on the summoning circle appear to be lowercase Greek letters.
Seiken is Japanese for "holy sword".
Seiken's attack animation is inspired by a certain weapon unleash from the Golden Sun series.
