Shockwave is an expert Wind-elemental skill available for Lance in Epic Battle Fantasy 3, for Matt, Natalie, and Lance in Epic Battle Fantasy 4, and for Natalie, Lance, and NoLegs in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.

Description

When cast, Shockwave engulfs the entire enemy wave in a loud, slightly green tinted sonic explosion.

Shockwave deals medium Wind-elemental damage to all enemies. From EBF4 on, this has a chance of Staggering the targets. In EBF4, it has a single-target version, Airwave, whereas in EBF5 it can either be used to target all foes or just a single foe; the single-target version works like Airwave.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4

Shockwave is now a Special Skill available for Matt, Natalie and Lance. It can now also inflict the newly introduced Stagger status effect to its targets.

It is technically unlocked at the start of the game, though Matt is the first character who can learn it.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

Shockwave is the upgraded version of Airwave and the final form of Air. It can either target all foes or just one, acting like Airwave when used against a single target.
