Spider Gown in EBF5.
The Spider Gown is a seasonal female armor found in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. Its hat counterpart is the Spider Bobble.
Description[]
The Spider Gown is a black dress with orange trim on the hem of its floor-length skirt and both ends of its detached sleeves. It also has a short overskirt with yellow-orange trim and a black lace collar; both resemble spider webs, fitting the armor's name. Natalie's version has a lower neckline with additional yellow-orange trim; disabling the "Cleavage" option raises the neckline to only show a bit of her chest.

The Spider Gown grants good boosts to Defence and Magic Defence (slightly favoring the former), along with a minor HP bonus. It can summon a Haunted Mirror between turns, which will deal Dark damage to a single foe while inflicting Curse on them. It also increases the power of debuffs and Dark skills.
The Spider Gown is a decent defensive armor overall, also having some merit for a debuffer and/or Dark-based offensive build. Although the Cow Costume has more bulk for the former niche and the Dark Gown boasts far more magic power for the latter, the Spider Gown is potentially available much earlier than either of them (especially if you're willing to fiddle with your system clock) and can be used for Natalie's offensive support build. On the other hand, Anna lacks Dark options and isn't an especially proficient debuffer; she'll usually prefer the Mecha Suit, which has identical Defence and otherwise superior stats alongside a more exploitable elemental boost.
The Spider Gown resists Fire, Earth and Dark, with none becoming an immunity at Level 5.

The Alt Spider Gown has average Defence and Magic Defence and slight boosts to HP, Attack, Magic Attack, Evade, and Accuracy. It can randomly cast Screamer between turns, dealing mild Dark magic damage to all enemies while debuffing their Attack. This skill technically benefits from the Alt Spider Gown's Dark boost, but its low power means that Anna won't be able to exploit the elemental boost until Demon Swords becomes available in the late game; in contrast, Natalie's natural skills will get plenty of mileage from the armor.
The Alt Spider Gown can also make its wearer Invisible upon Defending; coupled with the Screamer support, it is primarily geared towards mitigating the threat of physically-inclined enemies. As a Target tank, it has to contend with the Alt Wizard Robe, which is arguably more efficient due to its high Magic Defence mitigating the downside of Invisible; on the other hand, the Alt Spider Gown has slightly better Evade and physical stats, making it a little more versatile.
The Alt Spider Gown resists Dark, Holy, Doom, and Instant Death, with the latter two becoming an immunity at Level 5.
Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]
The Spider Gown is obtained in the Warp Zone as a reward for completing Jack's quest. Jack is a seasonal NPC who only appears during the Halloween season (October 1 - November 7).

Trivia[]
- Along with the Cow Costume and the Camo Skirt, the Spider Gown is one of the only female armors in EBF5 to have a "censored" version that still shows some of Natalie's cleavage. (The Bubble Dress and the Casual Skirt also show some cleavage, but their design doesn't change if "Cleavage" is disabled.)
- The Alt Spider Gown is one of two Alt female armors to raise all stats at least slightly; it shares this distinction with the Alt Magical Skirt.
