Steel Plate is a recurring crafting item in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It is a grey piece of metal used for forging numerous metallic equipment, primarily weapons.

In EBF3, Steel Plates can be bought in The Town for 800 gold. The player will need 186 of them to upgrade everything; prior to the 2016 update, 189 were needed.

In EBF4, Steel Plates became shinier than their previous appearance. They can be bought in Greenwood Village, Whitefall Town and Goldenbrick Resort for 1,400 gold. The player requires 334 of them to upgrade everything.

In EBF5, Steel Plates gained a more refined, squared appearance. They can be bought from any Material Shop for 1,400 gold. To upgrade everything, 256 of them are needed; the Vortex Cannon and the Giant Slayer will need particularly large amounts.
