The Steel Shark is a non-elemental gun available for Lance in Epic Battle Fantasy 3.
Description[]
The Steel Shark is a silver cannon styled to resemble a shark. The barrel is located in what would be the shark's mouth, surrounded by spikes resembling teeth. The upper plate on the gun has a vent resembling a large eye or a row of gills, and the trigger/grip resembles its pectoral fin. A pair of wires are visible on the back of the gun, connecting the "shark's" dorsal fin to its tail.
The Steel Shark has the best Magic Attack and MP of any gun, backed by nice boosts to Defence and Magic Defence; on the other hand, it slightly reduces Accuracy and Evade. It inflicts Syphon with weapon-elemental attacks, and its Unleash completely obliterates the foe's Magic Attack; these traits make it an effective counter to magic-wielding foes, even including Monoliths.
Although it doesn't boost any specific skills, the Steel Shark is Lance's strongest option for nonspecific magic offensives; since none of his guns boost Bomb skills, it also boasts the most powerful Airstrike of any gun. It's a viable weapon for the endgame, along with the Shadow Blaster, the Thunder Core, and the Red Vulcan; its main advantages are its huge Magic Attack and reliable Syphoning abilities.
The Steel Shark provides Water and Syphon resistance, with the latter becoming an immunity at Level 5.

The Steel Shark is given to the player as a reward for completing a quest at Rock Lake for Bartolo.
