Matt using Swift Slash in EBF4.
Swift Slash (also known as Wind Slash or Windslash) is a multi-target weapon-elemental skill available for the players in the Epic Battle Fantasy series. It is used by Matt in the first four games and by NoLegs in the fifth game.
Description[]
When performed, the user dashes through the enemy wave with their weapon, damaging all foes at the same time.
Whether used by Matt or NoLegs, Swift Slash is one of their very few multi-target skills, making it a good (if not the only) option to deal with groups of weaker foes or when one wants to spread damage among enemies. It can also be useful to spread a weapon's status effects.

Epic Battle Fantasy 2[]
The skill was renamed Windslash and became slightly more expensive. Before the EBF Collection update, the in-game description incorrectly stated the skill had 4000 power instead of 3300, and 100% Accuracy instead of 120%.

Epic Battle Fantasy 3[]
Back to being called Wind Slash, the skill is now less expensive, yet stronger than in previous games. Equipping the Swift Brand will boost its power.
Epic Battle Fantasy 4[]
Aside from being renamed Swift Slash (most likely to avoid assumptions that it is a Wind-element skill), the skill is nearly unchanged from its previous appearance. However, it no longer has decreased status/debuff infliction chance, which works well with the effects of certain swords, such as the Blood Blade's Tired or the updated version of the Dragon Claw's Poison.
The Silver Blade may counterattack with Swift Slash.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]
Swift Slash has become one of NoLegs's skills, with Slicing Cyclone becoming Matt's multi-target attack of choice. It now has a 1-turn cooldown and is a little stronger per level, but otherwise acts as it did in previous games.
Trivia[]
- The Annihilate skill also has the user dash into enemies in a similar fashion.
