TREAGURE is a miniboss and a summon in Epic Battle Fantasy 5 introduced in the v2 update. It is found in the 90 medals room of the Grand Gallery.
Appearance[]
TREAGURE is a living treasure chest with feline features. It is primarily light orange, with darker orange portions representing shadows and a number of black markings resembling striped fur. Its lid has small eyes and ears, as well as a dot for a nose; the bottom part of the chest has four stubby legs and a thin tail tipped with what appears to be a gem. The dark orange details on the seam of the chest could represent either a lock or a smiling cat mouth with its tongue sticking out.
Like all Arcade foes, TREAGURE is depicted in a style resembling classic 8-bit video games.
TREAGURE's arcade is the only one that requires medals to unlock (90, which may require more than one playthrough) and is the prominant attraction in this room, asides from the fanart. There also are two NPC patrons (Meg and Robyn) in this room.
Overview[]
TREAGURE is a tricky foe with high Defence and poor Magic Defence; as such, magic attacks will be most effective against it. Its Accuracy is slightly above-average and its Evade is slightly below-average; as such, both it and the party will be able to hit each other more easily than normal.
TREAGURE can use strong non-elemental physical attacks - one of which can Dispel the party - but its signature ability weaponizes the seemingly-endless supply of gemstones carried within itself. The gemstones hit random targets for moderate magical damage with a slight elemental degree and a good chance of inflicting a status effect; the exact element and ailment depends on the color of the gem. When its HP is low, it can perform a buff that simultaneously increases its Evade while debuffing a party member's Magic Attack; it also has a chance to use this buff as a counter if "Counter-Attacking Foes" is enabled.
On higher difficulty levels, the chances of TREAGURE's attacks inflicting status effects increases to the point where they're guaranteed to affect a non-resistant player. Its Bounce attack gains a significant Stagger chance, the Confuse duration of its Bomb-based gem attack is doubled and the Fire-based gem inflicts Scorch instead of Burn. Its buffing skill also makes it Lovable.
Like all Arcade foes, TREAGURE's elemental attacks only have 25% affinity, so resistances will do very little to reduce their damage; on the other hand, status resistances are important to make its attacks more manageable. Consider stacking resistance on a Target tank to draw in all of TREAGURE's attacks; then, the rest of the party only needs to worry about Dispel resistance and the splash damage from Slam. Its only elemental weakness is Dark, but its Weaken immunity can hamper damage stacking; aside from that, you can try elements by Wet or Dry, which TREAGURE has no resistance to.
Aside from absorbing Holy and being immensely weak to Dark, TREAGURE takes neutral damage from all elements. However, it is immune to all status effects except for Dispel (which it resists), Burn, Scorch, Poison, Virus, Stagger, Wet, and Dry. It also resists all stat debuffs except for Evade, although its HP can be lowered slightly more than the others. Enabling "More Foe Resistance" slightly increases its resistance to offensive and defensive debuffs while giving it significant resistance to all of the elements it was previously neutral to.
As a side note, TREAGURE is one of the best foes to farm for Topaz, Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire; stealing builds can easily grab several gems from it and immediately retreat, repeating the process as many times as the player desires. It also has a modest chance to drop a Diamond, although this will require defeating it in battle.

TREAGURE gains up to 24% extra Attack, Magic Attack, HP and Accuracy depending on how many optional bosses have been killed, medals awarded and monster cards obtained:
- +1% for each of the 13 optional bosses (counting the Sketch bosses as a single boss) for a 13% total. Bosses included are: ??.@'¬?]-?e??255, Snowflake, The Sketch Boss Rush, Sól and Skadi, Neon Valhalla, Telperion, Vulcan, Crystal Hydra, Matteus, Natalia, Lancelot, Annabelle and God.
- +1% at the 50, 65, 80, and 100 medals thresholds, for a 4% total.
- +0.04% for each of the 50 Monster Cards obtained, for a 2% total.
- +0.2% for each of the 12 Arcade bosses, the 8 Data Bunker simulations, and the 5 1P Challenges in the Battle Arena; for a 5% total.
After level 30, TREAGURE gains a 5% boost to Attack and Magic Attack, and a 2.5% boost to HP and Accuracy on every level-up (these boosts stack additively, acting as a multiplier). This boost caps out at level 36.

Battle Logic[]
The following describes general logic of the enemy and attack patterns, with chances of each attack to be used. Conditions are listed from highest to lowest priority unless specified otherwise.
Action
- If Berserked → Bite;
- If catch score >55 and all players are Lovable or <19% HP → Gem Throw;
- <39% HP → Bounce (3/20), Slam (5/20), Buff (5/20), Gem Throw (7/20);
- <69% HP → Bite (5/25), Bounce (3/25), Slam (5/25), Buff (5/25), Gem Throw (7/25);
- Otherwise → Bite (5/20), Bounce (3/20), Slam (5/20), Gem Throw (7/20).
Counter (only if Counter-Attacking Foes is enabled)
- 25% → Buff.
Additionally, if no other foes are left, TREAGURE will inflict 3x Berserk on itself at the start of its turn (this does not take up its action). This effect will only happen once.
Summon[]
TREAGURE can be captured and used as a summon. It uses its Gem Throw attack to bombard the enemy wave with eight random gems, dealing magical damage to random targets. The element and status effect of each attack depends on the type of gem.
