The Veggie Slime, also known as the Green Slime, is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 3 and 4. It appears mostly around forested areas, such as the Vegetable Forest (in EBF3) and Lankyroot Jungle (in EBF4). It is a member of the Slime enemy class.
Appearance
The Veggie Slime is simply a green blob with eyes. A vegetable or flower is resting on its head or protruding out of it in both games.
Initially its EBF4 appearance variants were identical to EBF3's, but the Battle Mountain update of EBF4 has replaced all of them with new ones of the same garden theme and added a fourth one. The same happened to its bigger version.
Overview
The Green Slime is definitely a weak enemy in both games. In EBF3, they appear very early and are typically the tutorial foe. On Epic difficulty, they are given slight Poison-based health regeneration, but still don't pose much of a threat.
In EBF4, they appear later on and are only slightly stronger than its previous version. Veggie Slime is still quite easy to slain, plus at that point in the game, you would most likely have powerful fire spells; an element the foe is significantly weak to. Veggie Slime's only strong point is the new Slimed status, which blocks the affected from taking turns and doubles damage taken, making the affected a very easy target for slime's stronger allies. While infliction chance is relatively low, it's a major thing whenever it occurs, and your best bet is to eliminate the slime before it happens.
