The Yellow Jelly is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 4, replacing the Purple Jelly from Epic Battle Fantasy 3 as a Thunder-oriented Jelly. Yellow Jelly appears primarily in Waste Disposal Plant. It is a member of the Jelly enemy class.
Appearance
The Yellow Jelly has a spiky yellow bell head with a glowing core that produces electricity. It has four tentacles, with a set of three dots at the end of each. The Battle Mountain update added yellow eyes.
Overview
The Yellow Jelly is a straightforward foe. It has a moderate Thunder attack with a notable chance to Stun the target, and can also Charge up to fire off Thunder Storm at the party. It has no other abilities of any kind.
The Yellow Jelly's only real threat stems from its ability to readily Stun players; while this is concerning if paired with stronger foes, it can also be easily negated with equipment or Purify. As a general rule, the Yellow Jelly is not a deadly foe, but should be dealt with sooner than later in order to avoid being Stunned.
The Yellow Jelly absorbs Thunder and Water, as well as being immune to Earth and resistant to Bomb. However, it is vulnerable to Ice and Poison, making Iceberg and Vines good ways to take it down. The Yellow Jelly is also immune to Stun and vulnerable to Freeze, though this has a minor effect on the battle.
